Life in the big town of Saskatoon draws all types but mostly from the rez. This is the first big town for most of the native youth and twentieth street is their Broadway. Girls, bars, drugs draw them to the bright lights of toontown. The main bar is the Barry hotel and the smokers are out front puffing away, rain or shine. in the day the main hang outs are the doctors offices and soup kitchens then off to the friendship inn to see who’s out and maybe they can get high or score a beer. Foods out in the morning at A..S. and they got movies and free laundry plus a phone and internet connections. Coffee is on all day at the friendship centre and you never know who’s coming in from the rez or going out.
